Hiring: Program Officer

Ball Brothers Foundation—one of Indiana’s oldest and largest family foundations—is growing its staff with the addition of a Program Officer. The Program Officer will play a key role in advancing the foundation’s “place-based grantmaking” strategy, managing relationships with grantees and potential applicants across Muncie, Delaware County, and East Central Indiana. This individual will identify funding needs in the community, review grant applications, develop grant recommendations, monitor grant impact, and provide additional resources and supports for grantseekers. In close coordination with other staff members and the board, this individual will help shape specific grantmaking strategies across the foundation’s focus areas which include arts/culture, education, human services, public/society benefit, environment, and health.
